About the role
Keep the books, taxes and payroll inputs for Explera Indonesia accurate and on time.
Explera Indonesia pays hotels, transport companies and guides every day and invoices partners in several currencies. As Local Accountant you own the day-to-day accounting for the Indonesia entity and make sure every local filing is right and on time.
You work from our Bali office with the group finance team, who handle consolidation and cash management, and with our external auditors and tax advisers.
What you will look after
- Supplier payments, partner receivables and bank reconciliations
- Monthly closing and management reports for the country manager and group finance
- Local tax, social security and statutory filings
What you will do
- Record and reconcile supplier invoices, partner receipts and bank accounts
- Run month-end closing and prepare management accounts for group finance
- Prepare and file local tax and statutory returns on time
- Prepare payroll inputs and statutory contributions with HR
- Support the annual audit and work with external tax advisers
- Follow up overdue partner payments with the sales team
What you bring
- Degree in accounting or finance
- 2+ years of full-cycle accounting in Indonesia, ideally in travel, hospitality or services
- Monthly PPN and PPh filings (e-Faktur, e-Bupot, Coretax)
- BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan contributions and payroll support
- Knowledge of SAK EP / SAK accounting standards; Brevet A/B is a plus
- Bahasa Indonesia and business English
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Valid right to work in Indonesia
